LOS ANGELES, Sept. 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Korn/Ferry International (NYSE: KFY), a premier global provider of talent management solutions, today announced that Baroness Denise Kingsmill and George T. Shaheen have joined the Firm's board as directors.
A former partner at a leading London law firm, Baroness Kingsmill has held a series of high-profile non executive director and advisory roles in the private sector, including at British Airways, Laing O'Rourke, Royal Bank of Scotland and Telewest Communications. She has also advised top international companies on their expansion in Europe and their relations with the European Union.
As well as her senior private sector roles, Baroness Kingsmill has held influential positions in the public arena, including the Deputy Chairmanship of the Competition Commission. Baroness Kingsmill is a life peer and sits in the House of Lords where she is a member of the influential Economic Affairs Committee.
George Shaheen has held executive positions at several leading technology and professional services-focused companies. Mr. Shaheen was formerly the CEO of Siebel Systems, Inc., a CRM software company, and CEO and Global Managing Partner at Andersen Consulting, which later became Accenture. He also served as chairman and CEO of Webvan Group, Inc.
Mr. Shaheen currently serves on the boards of NetApp, PRA International, 24/7 Customer, Voxify, newScale and Univita Health. He is also a member of the Advisory Board of the Marcus & Millichap Company and the Strategic Advisory Council of Genstar Capital.
